Two hours in the shoes of Sales Man
I have worked at Shoppers Stop, on Sunday 5th February 2012 as a sales man and it was a wonderful experience my manager said that customer have different thinking when he/she is coming in discount time and when he/she comes during regular time, as during discount they take any product with less priority on color or pattern aspect while during regular time they look every aspect properly.
A customer came to the store around 3:20 in after noon and asked for trousers of size 34 but he was not getting a proper color which he wanted but when he asked me I said sir we are not having other colors in same pattern, but I also mentioned about lucrative discount offer going on that trouser so finally he bought it.
On the same day in evening a customer came, I approached him that sir can I help you, he started with shirt of Park Avenue which I gave him along with that because of my approach he bought shirt from other divisions and in house brands also, finally he was like you only help me to do shopping in all sections, he got the billing done of 7500 INR. So I Understood that right approach at right time helps.
