" 2 HOURS IN A SHOE OF SALESMAN "
While working in a shoppers stop as a trainee one task was assigned to me on 31st january 2012, by my department manager to be a CCA which means customer care associate and sell as many products as i can. I took it as an opportunity to prove my potential there and so i spent and focused on CCA's way of approaching and selling the products to the customers.
After noticing them i approached the customer which was searching for assistance in my MOTHER CARE department. I asked her ''do you need any assistance ma'am'' and she asked to show me bathing tub for a 6 months old baby. Our tub was big for 6 months baby but i convinced her by clicking 2 photos of her baby in that tub and making her emoionally involve wid the merchandise and as she asked me about the way of billing counter made me feel very good and proud.
Customers were less as it was tuesday but i still managed to sell 2 toys,a tub,pack of 2 of t-shirts,3 pairs of shoes in a day.
Salesmen work is really hard to do,convincing customer,approaching them,even if they avoid you follow them so to provide them any kind of assistance they need,ask them to become members of the store etc. Working with them and as one of them was a very great experience. I salute to all those salesmen who are working so hard to live and run their families.
