“In layman’s language, pitching for sales is the be all and end all of any salesperson.”
Samsung have recognized it’s indispensable importance in the retail sector. For giving an instance, I will take the example of my smartphone Samsung Wave 525 and will describe how Samsung have utilized market analysis and came out as a market leader now.
Sales Pitch:  Implemented Encirclement Strategy under Market Attacking Strategies from Challenger Segment.

MARKET ANALYSIS:
-In pitching its product line in the market, Samsung utilized encirclement strategy initially. At that time, Nokia were the market leaders with 74% of the market share in the smartphone category. Samsung encircled Nokia by bombarding the market in all the categories and launching new product lines from in every price range including from low end to high end customers. Excessive options for customers lead to volume sales. They encircled Nokia and now are the market leaders in the overall segment.
