This is a gatha of a salesman who recently realised his salesmanship qualities. My friend krishnendu das from Kolkata after completing his bba opted for work to gather some experience. He always wanted to do a HR job as he felt it to be less tiring. But he was getting jobs related to sales and marketing so with other alternative left he had to settle for a sales job.
Initially he used to complain about his job as he had some preconceived notion about the job but as days passed he became serious with his work and started liking it. After some weeks his complains disappeared and he was excited with his work. He gave me insight into how he handled the customers and what all he did which led to successful sale. He was shining in his new job.
His liking for the job reflected on his performance. He gave business thrice than that of his given target. He was recognised and appraised by his take over and line managers. There are talks going on to promote him to the post of take over manager if he continues with this performance. So it is important for us to realise and do what we are good at.
