Salesman ki Gathaa...

This is the story of a very normal graduate who started to work in a BPO just to join the league of working people and earn money right after he completed his graduation to get a high % of his pocket share. But with time he had an urge to earn enough money to satisfy his own individual needs and to take the responsibility of his entire family. With this burden on him, he started working for longer hours. After 4 years of slogging in the same organization with almost the same work, he did not have enough reasons to motivate himself to keep on working on the same position with hardly any increment in monetary terms or in terms of roles and responsibilities.
He then on one fine day got an opportunity to prove himself and his capabilities by sacrificing a lot of things behind. This was an extreme difficult moment in his life as he on one hand wanted to prove himself to the world and on the other hand he wanted to be with the one’s for whom he was earning. This new job that was offered to him wanted him to stay out of his country  and not only this but he did not even have sufficient time given to think over it. Although the money that he could make out there was the biggest motivation for him which made him attract towards a whole new country, with a whole new atmosphere with a lot of unknown people around and possibly no body to guide him. He then landed in a city called Lagos, Nigeria with a position of a salesmen in a company named PANASONIC.
As soon  as he landed in this new country altogether, he was completely lost as he did not know anyone neither was he familiar with the working environment or the working conditions there. He faced a lot of trouble interacting with people due to a huge difference in the communication language.
But he was very strong and determined to prove himself and making a mark for himself in the company.
As per him, the key ingredient of sales is knowing the product extremely well. He started learning the diff kinds of products available and comparing the price with the competitors so that he would know what and how is he selling differently from his competitors. Slowly and gradually he started moving out in the market to meet his prospective buyers and knowing their exact demands so that he tries to fulfill it in the best possible way.  He as a salesman had built an extremely good rapport with his customers and he had a great deal of impact on their buying behavior.  According to him its not about cracking 1 big deal but getting clusters of small but frequent deals that makes him stay connected with the customers.
He know is a successful and a wealthy salesman who got promoted in a very short span of time with his great efforts and the want to do extremely well.  He is now well settled in the country and plans to make his future brighter.
