One Day In The Shoe Of Salesman

One day in a shoe of salesman….!!!
Day- first
Date- 10/02/2012
Place- NIFT (kharghar)
            (Barbar shop)
Today when I went on barbar shop for shaving & cutting, I decided that I will select that barbar for my project. There were two or three guy, who was busy with other customers, I sat on the chair and one boy came and asked for service. He was basically from north side (Jhansi, up) and lives here from last 3 years. In between the cutting I asked some basic questions and after that I came on my point (sales). I asked about his salary, timings (working hour), experiences etc. basically he was belongs from very poor family and his family lives in Jhansi but he came here because there was no livelihoods in his village, and according to him he is happy after coming Mumbai. When I asked about his work like how you manage or what kind of strategies you use for gaining more customers trust, he told that the first thing that I used is politeness and well greet and after concentrate on work.

Second day when I went to his shop the shop’s owner told me he is not there, today he is on leave, come on Sunday. On Sunday when I reached there he was busy in cutting, after that I asked if you are free for this time I want to talk with you related to your work and experiences, he said ok but when any customer will come, I will go in shop. Then our actual conversation have started, I asked that day you said about your personal life today I want basically to focus on your profession’s point like how you started your career in this business and what kind of strategies you are using to scale up. He said basically I believe in build in relationship with my customers by whom they will trust on me and next time when they will come in shop, take service only from me. It will increase your confidence level when your customer is waiting only for you that also affect my boss. When any customer comes in a shop he wants his good service in terms of satisfaction, if you provide that kind of service he will be your loyal customer.
