True story
Vijay was born in a small town near Varanasi. He had two brothers and a sister younger to him. Lack of education and inadequate salary of his father who was a postman, forced vijay to leave the town of jaunpur in order to search for jobs in bigger cities at very young age of 15. Vijay recalls the day he boarded the train to Mumbai from Varanasi the only thing which he knew was that bollywood is in Mumbai and great actors like Amitabh Bacchan had also come to this city in search for job once. Smiling sheepishly he tells that now I know very few are lucky enough to reach stardom but is happy with his current success and work. He today works with an Ngo which helps poor and needy kids and is given a salary of  Rs 5000 per month. His job primarily consists of  distribution of material(pamphlets, handouts etc) in order to create awareness about the Ngo and convincing people to contact the Ngo as and when they see a child in distress or in need for help. He tells his job is not an easy one because people are hard to convince in matters concerning kids and they usually are suspicious about everything because the very fact that an organization is working for the greater good of poor and needy children is hardly digestible. He often narrates his own story to his target audience where in he tells them how he himself was rescued by the Ngo when he came to Mumbai and how this act of kindness changed his life forever. He sends most of what he saves to his family in jaunpur and is proud of what he does. Hats off to him!!
