EK SALESMAN kI GATHA
This is a story of the salesman who sells services that is the service of hair cutting. Santosh a salesman who came from Bihar to New Delhi in 12 years back in search of a better livelihood, better stability plus better prosperity and a prosper life came with the dream in his life that he would become a successful man in his life. But as nothing comes easily in his life the road for the success for santosh wasn’t as easy as he thought of. First of all his journey of life started with the obstacle of having no money in his pocket and due to lack of knowledge and illiteracy days were not easy for him to get pass by. But the only thing that due to god’s grace he have been blessed with the art of experimenting with the hairs of people. He started his first sales job of providing service of cutting hairs of the people. He started his sales career through approaching his friends for money so that he can start his small shop which consists of a tent which can act as a small chair, 5-6 scissors, 3-4 combs, and shaving kit and all stuff. At that time he started of his business with the dream of achieving something in life and to utilize his talent in a fruitful manner. After working for 4-5 years he realized that nothing much has been coming out of as the same type of service was rendered by the other people in the market also then he made a smart move by introduction of various type of massages for free and by using of a new product known as trimmer which wasn’t that much famous in the market and only few of the people used it. He realized the need of customer that the customers of the age group 13-18 or rather teenagers didn’t want to shave as their primary preference of using shaving equipments such as razor or blade. The time was high and it was clear in his mind that ‘life can only provide you opportunity it never provides you guarantee’. So what he did was he went to electronic wholesale market and bought that product at a much cheaper prices and that move was considered as the smart move according to the market conditions. Because the local barbers in that community or area wasn’t able to trigger the customer’s needs but santosh had done already his homework and he took a better step forward towards prosperous life and with praying to god he took the risk of opening up a proper store or rent allotted place so that he can take his business apart. At that point of time he opened up a store and was in very much profitable so that he was able to open up other stores also. Now he has 5 medium size saloons and one proper professional saloon in town. That was the story of the success of a salesman santosh.
